YPT Receives National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award
Presented by First Lady Michelle Obama

YPT is thrilled to announce that we have received the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award from the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, the highest honor in the nation for a program like ours.

This award, which was presented to YPT by First Lady Michelle Obama at a private White House ceremony on Wednesday, October 20, recognizes the impact we are having on student learning and helps us to know that what we do truly matters. It also shows our students that important people are listening to what they have to say – and caring who they are, and who they can be. YPT was selected for this honor from a pool of more than 400 nominations and 50 finalists.
