Come see a good band while supporting a great cause!
On May 22, local rockers Chance Gardener will be performing a benefit concert for Young Playwrights’ Theater at Tryst in Adams Morgan. Chance Gardener describes their sound as "music that is melodic and acoustic-based, with the occasional guitar crunch and deep thought thrown into the mix." They've been featured on Potbelly's Best of Local Bands DC compilation CD and have played at the Taste of DC Festival. Website CD Baby says, "It is music for people who've had enough of angry-rock, but who don't care for bland "cookie cutter" rock either. Chance Gardener rocks, but with a heart and mind, and a love for jangly guitars, power chords, and close harmonies.."
